A superb antique c.1845-65 English Silver plate box. Made in Sheffield in this era and having all it's silver plate remaining. Great family motto on top of the box of a Lion and Latin wording below. I just can't make it out. The box measures 5 1/4" x 3 1/4" and 2 1/2" tall. No dents or issues. Marked on the bottom with company mark. PLEASE check out ALL my others items I am offering.
